Speaker of Uganda’s Parliament Anita Annet Among and Federation of Uganda Football Associations (Fufa) president Moses Hassim Magogo are said to have moved a step further in as far as making their relationship formal is concerned.
After reportedly dating for many months and appearing on even together, Magogo, who is also the Member of Parliament for Bidiope East as well as the Chairperson of the ICT Committee of Parliament, chose to visit the home of Uganda’s head of legislative assembly so that the duo can enjoy themselves in peace.
Magogo and his family are said to have visited Among’s family in Bukedea District at the weekend, making it clear that the Uganda FA boss was interested in making the Bukedea District Woman MP his official wife.
Reports indicate that Magogo and his people dug deep into their pockets to secure 50 good cows and about 30 goats which they are said to have paid as dowry in line with the cultural requirements on traditional marriages. Local estimates put the value of the traditional event on upwards of US$150,000.00.

The event in Bukedea was kept as a top and well guarded secret, with the traditional marriage ceremony attended by a select few powerful friends of the two people. But a photo from the event has leaked online giving Ugandans clues on the marriage.
Ugandan football has been languishing in poverty and a spate of poor results thanks to the pilferage of FA coffers for underwriting Magogo’s addiction for cheap thrills and never-ending desire to conquer the opposite gender. And while his previous considerations have been purely physical, Magogo has tweaked his objectives and has become more strategic, choosing to cohabit with a woman not just for looks, but to consolidate political power in the country.
So serious is his latest conquest that he engineered a trip by CAF President Patrice Motsepe to Uganda, to ostensibly introduce his latest wife, an offer that the power-hungry South African businessman couldn’t resist as it came with an appointment with the head of state Yoweri Museveni as a topping.

The CAF President has been using his position to meet heads of state and build consensus for a stab at the chairmanship of the Africa National Congress (ANC) and subsequently replace his brother in-law Cyrille Ramaphosa as President of South Africa.
Motsepe was chauffereud around Uganda with controversially-acquired limousines designated for the Speaker and her deputy, acquisitions which have dented the country’s already depleted cash reserves as the vanity-obsessed political elite engross themselves in delusions of grandeur.
The fate of his former side-dish Dorah Ssali whom he proposed to in a high-profile night outing remains unknown, with sources intimating that she might be passed onto one of his colleagues at the CAF Exco, like the way Gianni Infantino’s side-dish Sandra Latorre was seconded to CAF, which is slowly becoming the dumpsite for ex-girlfriends of football bosses.
Sandra Latorre is so important to Infantino that she has been staying at a 5-star hotel for the last 18-months in Cairo, even as her Zurich-counterparts rented apartments near the headquarters in 6th October City. All her flights must connect through Europe by request, something which is draining CAF’s coffers.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino has been able to hold African football captive by tapping into the greed and lust of FA Presidents like Magogo, by constantly fuelling their earthly desires through unaudited FIFA subventions, in exchange for votes, all done at the expense of domestic football. So important is Magogo to Gianni Infantino that he was let loose without reprimand after proven allegations of illegal sale of WorldCup tickets, a matter exclusively carried on this website two years ago.
Gianni Infantino understands that the path of least resistance leads to crooked men and rivers, and just like the Swiss were able to rationalise the spillage of blood in pursuit of gold from the Nazi’s, he is ready to use African youth as cannon fodder in the war of attrition, by fuelling the greed and desires of FA presidents with FIFA money knowing very well that the meagre but precious resources are not being utilised for their intended purpose.
